OMARA CPD Workshops addressing COVID-19 and Substantive Topics

Enriched CPD Workshop sessions to be run in Webinar form during 2020 to support RMAs and Migration Lawyers

In acknowledging the drastic national measures to combat the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19), Enriched Migrating Training continues to make all efforts to keep CPD sessions open for the benefit of Registered Migration Agents and Migration Lawyers utilising platforms that are safe, comfortable, and OMARA compliant. We applaud the communal effort to slow and eventually stem the spread of COVID-19 and we are here to continue offering assistance and service to our industry friends and colleagues.

We will continue to provide Category A workshop sessions by Online Webinars. Our sessions will continue to be held monthly in order to assist participants in meeting their CPD compliance obligations

To better service our participants, we have increased the level of service in our online webinars as follows:

  • Each webinar now comes with a Fully Printable and Downloadable E-Workbook (200 – 400 pages)*, with associated case study extracts and PowerPoint slides
  • Interactive platform enabling participants to have full real-time access to raise questions and communicate with each other and with our presenter
  • All online webinars are Category A activities
  • Webinars to generally be streamed in AEST time which would be aimed to benefit Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast, ACT and Tasmanian participants. To better service our interstate participants, webinars will be periodically streamed in AWST time (for Perth participants)
  • Full technical support will be provided to ensure participant access and enhanced experience
  • EACH WORKSHOP will have an allocation of time accorded specifically to how the regulations relevant to COVID-19 impacts the subclass or framework

* Subject to participant agreement to act ethically in protecting the intellectual property of the materials

This is in line with the national response guidelines for maintaining sufficient isolation and person-to-person distancing practices in order to restrict the spread of the virus and to minimise risk factors for participants.
